Colorado man sentenced to 30 years for sex crimes

A man who allegedly molested more than 10 young boys has been sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for his sex crimes by a judge in Colorado.

The 42-year-old man has spent time in prison previously for convictions of sexual assault against two boys during the 1990s. During discussions related to his plea agreement, the Colorado man admitted to molesting other boys. The two other molestation incidents that the 42-year-old admitted to happened in 1997 and 2008.

During an investigation, the man supposedly declared that he had sexually abused 10 other boys. He allegedly gained the boys’ trust and then molested them. It is believed that many of the boys have not come forward. Many of his alleged previous molestations, still unaccounted for, occurred in a different state. According to investigators, the man does not remember enough information about his victims. This has prevented police from finding any of his unknown victims.

The man was also found to be in possession of child pornography. After he was informed of an unexpected probation officer visit to his home, he allegedly phoned his roommate to ask if he would remove his computer from their residence. The roommate allowed police to listen in on the conversation as the 42-year-old asked his roommate to put his computer in the trunk of a car and take the vehicle to a nearby restaurant parking lot.

This story is a clear example of the serious consequences of sex crimes. Colorado authorities do not take these cases lightly.
